Your Banner on MPEGIF's Website

MPEGIF is offering members the option to advertise with a 130x130 pixel banner on its very well-visited website. You will get a modest, but highly visible spot in the left-hand column, which is part of every page on our website, not just the home page. The banner will attract the visitor's attention because it constantly changes, and it is one of the few places on the page with a lot of color. It links to a web page of your choice.

Ads rotate continuously on browsers and behind firewalls that support JavaScript. On other browser/firewall combinations, they will change on page jump or a reload.

The Forum is doing this to:

• Give member companies the opportunity to profile themselves as supporters of MPEG-4, MPEG-7 and/or MPEG-21, and open standards;
• Give members the opportunity to attract high quality, directed traffic to their own (MPEG) websites;
• Generate some additional revenue for MPEGIF, in support of hosting and maintaining the website.

Here are the terms if you want to take advantage of this option:

• Send a graphic of exactly 130x130 pixels plus your dedicated hyperlink to Peter Haighton and our Forum Coordinator, Nicola Wissler. Peter will put your ad on the site while Nicola sends you an invoice;
• The ad should preferably support, but certainly not contradict the Forum's objectives. (A neutral ad for a member company is acceptable);
• The webmaster will add your banner to the rotation as soon as possible, but certainly within a few days;
• The banner will be clickable by website vistors, taking them to the link you provided;
• The rates are as follows:
  Quarterly: 1 ad - 400 USD per quarter; 2 ads - 600 USD per quarter; 3 ads - 800 USD per quarter
  Annually: 1 ad - 1200 USD per year; 2 ads - 1800 USD per year; 3 ads - 2400 USD per year

A few statistics about the Forum's website:

• Number of unique user sessions: more than 10,000 weekly
• Number of page views: more than 100,000 weekly
• Significant monthly growth
